the industrial fairs Z and intec ended on 27 February 2009 with a clear increase in visitor numbers. Over the four fair days, altogether 20,200 trade visitors (2008: 16,800) came from all over Europe to be informed by 1,320 exhibiting companies.

On Monday 8th September 2008, LEUKA was visited by the Bavarian State Secretary for economic affairs, Markus Sackmann.
Sackmann was accompanied by other politicians from that region, amongst others Eberhard Rotter, member of the Bavarian Parliament and Elmar Stegmann, District Administrator. During the factory tour the different fields of activity were explained in detail to the political guests by proprietor Leuze, factory manager Strahlhuber and project manager Kirsamer.
LEUKA expands the production area by 1000
square meters by constructing a new production hall.

The International Aerospace Exhibition (ILA), Berlin arranged a special event for the Leuka company from Weiler, Germany. There, the company got the certificate of the German Federal Association of Aerospace Industries (BDLI). Amongst other things, Leuka is one of the component suppliers for Airbus and Eurocopter.
It was handed out to the owner of the firm, Karlheinz Leuze, by Hans-Reiner Ziemer, chief engineer of quality management, senior manager of the EADS Munich and president of the BDLI-AG.
The certificate confirms Leuka that the company is certificated by the BDLI demands on quality QSF-B (EN 9100(AS 9100)) and meets all demands.

Exhibition Premiere AIRTEC 2006 successfully closed: 8,766 visitors from 37 nations
Frankfurt/Main – „Exhibitors honored the high quality of visitors and successful exhibition concept of AIRTEC 2006“, so Diana Schnabel, President of airtec GmbH & Co. KG and of Exhibition Manager of AIRTEC 2006 – International Aerospace Supply Fair, from October 17 to 20 2006 at the Exhibition Center Frankfurt, which took place for the first time. With AIRTEC a central exhibition platform in Europe for the entire aerospace supply chain has been created.
